The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame recently held a 25th Anniversary concert at Madison Square Garden. Gadget Guy was there and snapped this pic (shown above) of Bono, Fergie and Mick Jagger singing The Stones’ “Gimme Shelter.” The picture was taken with a Verizon-network Blackberry Tour 9630, which has a 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus and a flash. I must say it takes very sweet pics, and for indoors is better than the iPhone, which has no flash. The newly-released Blackberry Bold 9700 on AT&T has a similar 3.2 megapixel camera with built-in flash. Both devices also do video recording. The concert will be broadcast in higher resolution on Sunday evening of Thanksgiving weekend on HBO.
I agree that there are some things better about the blackberry camera. Of course the flash, but also you can zoom without having to download an app.
